Torulaspora delbrueckii formerly Saccharomyces delbrueckii is a yeast commonly found in grapes, grape juice and wine but also in dairy products. It can also be found in natural environments in soil, plants, fruits and insects. T. delbrueckii is not considered a concern for human health. Only one incidence has been documented where T. delbrueckii lead to fungal endocarditis.
